September 2018

  • Summer membership drive ends 9/3. New members get $40 off annual membership.
  • Our Fall Marketing Series kicks off on 9/26 at Kivelstadt Cellars in Glen Ellen with “Holistic Marketing,” featuring Kristie Sheppard, Senior Communications Specialist, and the team from A. Bright Idea.
  • Subsequent marketing series events include Influencer Marketing with Kristy Sammis in October and marketing success stories at Naked Wines in Napa in November.

  • If you received a renewal reminder email, simply click on the link in the email to renew your membership.
  • If you cannot find a renewal reminder email, simply click on MEMBER LOGIN in the top right corner of the website (any page) to login to the member portal and complete renewal.
  • Can’t remember your password to login? No problem! Simply click on Reset Password on the login page to be sent a temporary password.
  • Once logged in, you’ll see a Renew link immediately to complete your transaction. Or, select Renew from the drop-down menu.

On September 17th, KSVY features a WINE WOMEN segment on “The Morning Show.” This month features Chris Mueller, Wine Women President, at 9:20am. TUNE IN to 91.3 FM or online at KSVY.org (to stream the show live) or listen in to the App on your phone, “KSVY Radio.”

  • “Help Yourself. Volunteer!” invites members and guests to learn about volunteering and leadership roles and projects available at WINE WOMEN on July 24th at Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena.
  • “Is That Wine Corked?” on August 14th explores the stinky side of wine – specifically faults such as cork taint or Brettomyces.

June 2018

  • Celebrate our 2nd Anniversary with us at DeLoach Vineyards with the judges from the women’s wine competition on June 19th.
  • Our new Career Series continues with “Developing Personal Power” with Roger Savy at Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma on June 27th.
  • Our new Volunteer Program launched, offering members many opportunities to lead the organization to greater success and growth.
  • Forum Meetings are scheduled for most forums.

April 2018

  • Our new Career Series continues with “These Men Want You to Succeed” with guest panelists Silvio M. Coccia, Brian Kelleher, Michael Silacci, and Larry Smith, moderated by Joan Toth, at Gloria Ferrer in Sonoma on April 17th.
  • Our new Volunteer Program launched, offering members many opportunities to lead the organization to greater success and growth.
  • Forum Meetings are scheduled for most forums.

 

March 2018

  • Our new Career Series kicks off with “From Employee to Entrepreneur” with guest speaker Jay Rooke at Buena Vista Winery in Sonoma on March 6th.
  • On March 14th, WINE WOMEN hosts author James Conaway at St. Francis Winery, where he discusses his just-released “Napa at Last Light” book with local writer Paul Franson.
  • Forum Meetings are getting on track after cancelling during the fires.

February 2018

  • Our 2018 schedule of events kicks off with new tasting series, Advanced Wine Exploration. Our first event will be Italy: North to South led by The Panel co-owner, Windee Smith, on February 22nd.
  • Members take advantage of their discount off tuition for the Winery Hospitality Sales Training workshop from Success Strategies Inc., which runs February 12th in Sonoma.
  • Forum Meetings are getting on track after cancelling during the fires. Meeting this month are the Finance, Direct-to-Consumer and Winemaker forums.

January 2018

  • Behind the scenes WINE WOMEN works to assemble new programs and launch new wine tasting and career series for 2018.

December 2017

  • The Fall Marketing Series social media panel discussion event was rescheduled from Octover and held on Dec. 6.

October 2017

  • Everything rescheduled or cancelled due to wildfires.

September 2017

  • “The Inside Story of a Wine Competition” with guest speaker Debra Del Fiorentino, Founder and President of Wine Competitions Productions and Management, kicks off our Fall Marketing Series and gets underway September 26th.
  • Members take advantage of their 10% OFF discount for the Winery Hospitality Sales Training workshop from Success Strategies Inc., which runs September 20th in Santa Rosa.
  • Forum Meetings include the Winery Executive GM, and both Human Resources forums.

  • The Marketing Forum meets at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards on 1/10 to hear from Maria Hunt and Tom Wark.
  • The Winemakers Forum will meet at Chimney Rock Winery to hear from Jackie Egidio on winery finance.
  • The Human Resources II Forum pairs up with the Founding HR Forum on 1/25 at Buena Vista Winery for a joint meeting.
  • Our new Winery Executive GM Forum launches Jan. 18th at Three Sticks at the Adobe in Sonoma.

  • The Marketing Forum meets at Fairwinds Estate Winery to hear from Susan DeMatei on content marketing.

  • And the Winemakers’ Forum kicks off November in Sonoma, open to winemakers, assistants and associates as well as enologists.

  • Two Marketing Forum meetings occurred on September 27th with guest speaker Charlotte Chipperfield, and on October 4th, with guest speaker Paul Mabray.
  • The new (and second) Human Resources forum launches later this month on the 26th at Ram’s Gate Winery.
  • The Marketing Forum meets at Fairwinds Estate Winery to hear from Susan DeMatei on content marketing.
  • The Finance Forum’s second meeting kicks off at Three Sticks Winery @The Adobe early November.

  • We just held “How to Succeed in the Wine Business,” on September 13th at Raymond Vineyards, with more than 70 attendees. This event introduced our organization to many new to WINE WOMEN.
  • Our Finance Forum launched earlier this month at WALT Wines in Sonoma.
  • Our second Marketing Forum meeting is on September 27th, with a second meeting following on October 4th.

    • We just held “A Wine Women Welcome,” on August 3rd at Gloria Ferrer, with nearly 50 attendees. This event introduced our organization to many new to WINE WOMEN.
    • In the planning stages for September: The launch of the Finance Forum on September 8th at WALT in Sonoma; “How to Get In Succeed In the Wine Business (without really trying)!” at Raymond Vineyards in St. Helena on September 13th; and our second Marketing Forum meeting on September 28th.

    July 2016

    • Busy month! We launched the Marketing Forum on July 19th at Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma. Stay tuned for a post-event report!

    • WINE WOMEN officially launches with a celebratory welcome dinner, sponsored by our events partner, Boisset Collection, at DeLoach Vineyards in Santa Rosa, on June 21st, in partnership with the International Women’s Wine Competition (with whom we’ll be sharing the festivities at DeLoach as they celebrate completion of primary judging).
