Join us for alfresco wine tasting and nibbles as part of our new Advanced Wine Exploration series. Wine Director and Wine Club Manager Todd Jolly will lead a tasting about the vast world of wine and how he views wine country from the eyes of a local, family-owned retailer at Sonoma’s Best. How do you know which wines will sell? What factors go into choosing wines to sell in the shop? Get the inside story of buying for a local wine shop!

Todd will lead a discussion on the greater world of wine and how it relates to operating a retail establishment in the city of Sonoma, while we enjoy Sonoma’s Best’s back patio seating.

We will taste and discuss the following categories:

ABOUT TODD JOLLY, Wine Director and Wine Club Manager, Sonoma’s Best

Todd’s wine career encompasses all aspects of the industry including distribution, supply and now buying wine for retail, wine club and online sales. He is a Certified Specialist of Wine, Certified Sake Professional and recently passed the Introductory Sommelier Course with plans of taking the Certified Sommelier Exam later this year. Prior to his role at Sonoma’s Best, Todd was a Business Development Manager for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates in Portland, OR. Todd holds his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Oregon and has completed Sonoma State’s Online Certificate in Wine Business Management.
